MOE Edusave Awards for Secondary Schools
Edusave Awards are given by the government annually to Singaporeans pupils to help equalize educational opportunities and motivate pupils to excel in schools. These Singaporean pupils must have performed well or made good progress in their school work and must have good conduct. The Edusave Awards for Achievement, Good Leadership and Service (EAGLES) is awarded to recognize pupil’s leadership qualities, services rendered to the school and the community, and excellence in non-academic activities. The Edusave Character Award (ECHA Award) is awarded to recognize and affirm pupils who demonstrated exemplary character and outstanding personal qualities through their behaviour and activities.
Eligible awardees will be notified by post in late November.

1. Edusave Character Award | Pupils who demonstrate exemplary values and personal qualities through their behaviour and actions. This is given to up to 2% of Singaporean pupils who have obtained conduct grade of good or better. | $500 |
2. Edusave Scholarship | Pupils within top 10% of each level and course academically and who have good conduct. | $500 |
3. EAGLES | Pupils who demonstrate leadership qualities, offer good service to community and schools, and excel in non-academic activities. Pupils must also pass the school exams and have good conduct. This is given up to 10% of eligible Singaporean pupils. | $350 |
4. Edusave Merit Bursary | Pupils within top 25% of each level and course academically, have good conduct and gross household income below $5,000 per month (or per capita income of below $1,250).
